Percy Sledge to "Hammer out the hits for BROYHILL BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOME"

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, PERCY SLEDGE, known for his many hits, including, "When a Man Loves a Woman" will be making his last stop in the US before his summer swing in Europe.  The Percy Sledge Show encourages all to "bring a little extra" to both of the shows to benefit the Broyhill Baptist Children's Home as their representatives will be on site accepting donations.  Seating is limited and selling fast with the Vettes in the Valley Corvette show in town.  Show promoter, Duane Goins said, "I hope to sell the venue out in order to make a substantial donation to BCH."  Duane further said, "This is not a festival or night club show, but a full blown concert in an alcohol-free environment.  Percy will be accompanied by a great band with horn players to acheive that great sound.  We hope to have local veterans from Waynesville present the colors before the show and we intend to recognize them and the military services as they are the reason we can come together on occasions like this and still call the wars of the past  foreign  wars."

Backed up by Stuart Virginia's Sunset Drive and their big horn style, & back up singers, it's "Tux After Seven"  for the Golden Voice of Soul & this talented group of musicians that have performed with "The King of Slow Soul"  at Lincoln Center & Good Morning America.

When "The Louisiana Legend"  takes to the stage, it will be a grand journey through the  hits that accompanied all the cruisers, young and old, down through the ages.

‘My Special Prayer’•‘Cover Me’•‘Take Time To Know Her’•‘Warm & Tender Love’•‘First You Cry’•‘Dark End of The Street’ --interspersed with his new music including -- ‘Big Blue Diamonds’•‘24/7-365’•‘Shining Through The Rain’ -- and his special tribute to all his   friends with -- ‘My Girl’•‘Whiter Shade of Pale’•‘Sitting on The Dock of The Bay’•‘Bring It On Home To Me’•‘Going Home Tomorrow’•‘I Wish It Would Rain’

With a sentimental trip through the hits & the years in a style that only PERCY SLEDGE can take you on, when the time comes at the end of the evening, with everyone on their feet and the horns blowing hard, it will be time to take it all home with the most UNFORGETTABLE L I V E rendition of the timeless classic that has spanned the ages, 'WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN’ .....like only PERCY SLEDGE can deliver……

You can say ”I was THERE”  with my girl....... & my friends…… in my Vette, on a cool, Magical NC Mountain Night in Maggie Valley…………..

Special thanks to Marion Hamel, Maggie Inn, and "Vettes in the VALLEY!"
